Abstract
Trombe wall systems are passive solar structures used for space heating or cooling depending on the season of the year. Reviews in literature have shown that Trombe walls can effectively maintain a room within a desired temperature range. It is a green technology and therefore promotes the use of non-fossil technology for space conditioning in buildings. This research seeks to develop an autonomous and intelligent Trombe wall system that accounts for sudden fluctuations in the prevailing weather condition and adjusts itself to maintain the desired room temperature. Presented are the program algorithm for the deployment of an intelligent trombe system and C# code for the execution of the job on an Arduino machine.
