Abstract
Characterization of novel ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM)/natural rubber (NR) prophylactic waste composites was presented. The cure activating nature of the prophylactic waste in EPDM was higher at higher temperatures. The aged tensile strength and unaged/aged elongation at break were found to be a maximum at 20 phr prophylactic filler loading.
