Abstract

In this research work, a high-frequency third-order quadrature oscillator employing an advanced analog integrated circuit as an active block is designed that offers both Voltage and Current mode (VM and CM) sinusoidal signals. Also, the Condition of Oscillation (COO) and Frequency of Oscillation (FOO) can be electronically tuned via bias current IB in Operational Trans-conductance Amplifier (OTA) in the proposed design. The workability test of the novel oscillator is well verified using ICs AD844 and IC3080. In addition to this, the proposed design offers a high frequency (up to MHz range) of operation by consuming less power.
