Abstract

The energy-to-peak model reduction problem for neutral systems with time-varying delays is considered in this paper. A delay-dependent sufficient condition is obtained to characterize the existence of the reduced order models in terms of the solution of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) with inverse constraints. By employing a sequential convex optimization approach, a reduced order model can be computed with energy-to-peakgain error less than a prescribed scalar. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
