Cry not, try a lot: The development and promotion of african language literatures in South Africa

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Various strategies have been previously tried to promote African language literatures in South Africa. Most of these strategies are tried and now tired. This chapter re-evaluates these strategies and argues for their revival and an introduction of more strategies that must be applied simultaneously to develop and promote literature in these languages.
