Abstract
The non-collinear ferromagneti U3P4 was studied by elastic neutron scattering near its Curie point Tc = 138.4 K in order to determine the spontaneous magnetization σs. The critical exponent β describing the magnetization near Tc, σs∼tβ with t- = (TC - T) TC, takes a value of β = 0.314±0.015, which is in close agreement with the 3d-Ising model.
