Abstract

Results of neutron diffraction measurements on single-crystal U₃As₄ are reported. The exponent β describing critical scaling of the spontaneous magnetization close to the ferromagnetic phase transition is determined to have a value of β = 0.49, which is close to the mean-field model value.
