Abstract

This concluding chapter focuses on technological advancement and changing landscape of social work practice across the globe and addresses the challenges ahead of next generation practitioners. As we draw this handbook to a close, we see concerted effort across the globe in making field work practicum a true learning experience for students and graduates. It also gives us a feeling that ‘our future is in safer hands’ as we witness innovative and new initiatives taking place all over the world. This undoubtedly promises quality, capable and competitive social work professionals for the next generation.
