Abstract
The aim of the present paper is to obtain common fixed point theorems under strict contractive conditions by using a minimal commutativity condition. Our results extend the recent results due to Pant [1998, J. Math. Anal. Appl.226, 251-258; 1999, Soochow J. Math.25, 37-42].
