Abstract

Hydroxylated lupanines were found to co-occur with their corresponding angelate esters in specimens of different species of Pearsonia. The structures of two new compounds, 8α,13α-dihydroxylupanine and 3β,8α,13α-trihydroxylupanine, are reported. The comparative 13C NMR data of all hydroxylated compounds and their angelate esters are reported.
