Abstract

The title compound, [PtCl₂(C₂₀H₁₇P) ₂], forms a monomeric cis-square-planar geometry. The Pt - P bond lengths are 2.2489 (9) and 2.2627 (9) Å, whereas the Pt - Cl bond lengths are 2.3566 (9) and 2.3336 (9) Å.
