Abstract

The structure of the title compound, [AgI(C₁₈H ₂₇P)₂]·C₅H₅N, shows a trigonal-planar coordinated Ag^I atom within a distorted IAgP2 donor set. The pyridine solvent mol-ecule is only associated with the complex via very weak inter-molecular C- H⋯N inter-actions.
