N2 - The possibilities and potentials of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing the effectiveness of sustainable construction management is gaining momentum in research. While this area is in need of further studies, it is imperative to identify the trends, research clusters, emerging thematic areas and future directions of AI in sustainable construction management. Using scientometric analysis, this study examines AI in sustainable construction management research published primarily in the Scopus database from 2011 to 2021. A critical study was used to define the research trends in AI sustainable construction management research, while a scientometric analysis critically visualised the research status quo. From analysis China, the United States of America and the United Kingdom are the top contributing countries. The top co-occurring keyword is “Artificial Intelligence”. Four research themes were identified with the combination of cluster analysis and critical review: “GA Decision Support System (GA-DSS)”, “High-Performance Building Design and Decision-Making”, “Intelligent Concrete Prediction” and “Geographic Information Model.” This analysis examines current research and identifies emerging trends in this field.
