N2 - A comparative study of the Hysteresis-band current control pulse width modulation (HCCPWM) has been conducted. A theoretical background of this technique including sinusoidal and simplified hysteresis-band pulse width modulation has been given. Further discussion of the theoretical information has been done, which include advantages and disadvantages of this technique. Only an Adaptive Hysteresis-band Current Controller PWM has been implemented in Single-Phase full-bridge inverter using MATLAB/ Simulink software as a capable simulation tool. The simulation results as obtained validates the theoretical background of HCCPWM, to have high Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) in the output voltage waveforms and less harmonics on the current waveform with variable switching frequency. Simulation parameters used were assumed deduced values, and the switches used were ideal and supply frequency being constant at 50Hz.
