Abstract

In this paper, the transmission/reflection characteristics of a circular ring frequency selective surface (FSS) has been discussed. We have also explored a method for computing the various structure parameters of a frequency selective surface. The analytical results of the proposed structure are comparable to that of the desired result. This process of computation is also extended to the bandpass structure and obtained results are close to that of the desired results. The computed results of the proposed structure is compared with that of the simulated, which is performed by using CST Microwave Studio a commercially available simulator based on the finite integral technique.
