Abstract

This paper examines the implication of globalization and the global competitiveness of South African Automotive Industry (SAAI). The South African automotive industry forms part of small and medium scale enterprise (SMEs). However this industry has been going through a number of constrains ranging from competitiveness and innovation problem, therefore getting an optimum solution to the global competitiveness of this industry is of great importance and the economic wellbeing.
