Abstract
In the context of global concerns about rural poverty and the need for sustainable development, there is a growing interest in the relationship between agriculture, entrepreneurship, and education. The development of agripreneurship courses is not just a matter of academic interest, but a crucial step toward equipping students with the abilities and information required to succeed in agricultural entrepreneurship. This systematic literature review, therefore, examines the critical role that agripreneurship curriculum plays in reducing poverty and promoting rural development. It does this by combining findings from a thorough study of 21 peer-reviewed publications that followed the PRISMA technique. The results highlight important obstacles to developing and applying agripreneurship curricula, including a deficiency of resources for implementation and a lack of experience in curriculum development. In addition, the study investigates the numerous approaches and models that are used to incorporate agripreneurship curricula at the national and educational levels to reduce poverty and promote rural development. These include programs like Youth-in-Agribusiness (YIA) and School-based Agripreneurial Projects (SAPs), Chulalongkorn University School of Agricultural Resources (CUSAR), and Supervised Agricultural Experience Programs (SAEP). The clarification of these models and tactics adds to the body of knowledge on successful methods of agripreneurship education for sustainable rural development, which is beneficial for policymakers who are entrusted with creating agripreneurship curricula at the institutional or governmental levels.
