Abstract

This paper proposes a new internal model control scheme. The proposed scheme does not require an explicit transfer function model of the process. The design procedure is simple and the parameters of the controller are given in analytic formula. The resulting controller is of fixed-order form, which makes implementation easy. Simulation shows that the proposed scheme gives consistent and satisfactory performance for a large class of processes.
