5G and 6G Networks: Should There Be a Health Concern?

Abstract

This chapter discusses the health issues associated with underlying technologies of 5G and 6G. It is mostly dedicated to the investigation of the short-term and long-term influence of different types of electromagnetic radiation on various human health aspects. Both the physics of wave propagation and medical research studies are discussed. Potential health issues associated with VLC are also discussed in this chapter.
