N2 - Contemporary multinationals are increasingly developing innovative opportunities for enhancing business systems and ensuring sustainability. The Fourth Industrial Revolutions (4IR) presents significant advancements for digitalisation, real-time predictive enablement, and optimised business process execution. Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) is considered an emerging 4IR technology. CPS is effective for business integration, predicting data, real-time visualization, and the ability to model a business in real-time. This paper present insights on Business Process Optimisation Models (BPOMs), with emphasis on CPS implementations. The systemic and predictive enablement of conventional BPOMs is fundamental in this paper. The research proposes and discusses a new direction for modelling and optimising a business based on the 4IR and business process science.
