Abstract

The crystal structure of the compound [PdBr(C₁₄H₂₁S₂)] exhibited square-planar geometry at the Pd center. Three atoms of the square plane were provided by the rigid thiopincer ligand. The thiopincer ligand complexes were formed by the cyclometallation of 1, 3-bis(disubstituted thiomethyl)benzene.
