Ecosystem services; Biodiversity conservation; Landscape and climate change; Sustainable development and livelihoods; Geospatial information science and machine learning; Smart mobility. A major focus of his research is also the use of earth observation, geographic information systems and machine learning in environmental management and smart mobility.
