Atmospheric Physics and Energy: Solar irradiation, aerosols, interaction between radiation and aerosols, solar energy, the South African energy landscape; Astrophysics: Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), in particular Seyfert galaxies – spectral properties, classification, variability, optical photometry.
