Research Interests
Environmental justice (particularly in relation to mining and industrial/municipal waste management), protection of rural livelihoods in South Africa, and alternative development paradigms, notably post-extractivism / commoning initiatives in the South, and sustainable economic degrowth, and sustainable consumption and production in the North.
