Non-academic Entities

Organisation profile

Organisation profile

Some of UJ's entities are only classified as "non-academic" because they do not fall within the traditional hierarchy of faculties, the college or business school and are not typically staffed primarily with scholars.

Some non-academic entities cut across the faculties, college and business school (such as UJ Library & Information Centre, the Postgraduate School, the Statistical Consulting Division, etc.) while others are more administrative and/or supportative in nature (e.g. Academic Development and Support, the Research and Innovation Division, etc.).

These entities may still house some scholars or other staff who publish  research and deserve to be showcased on UJ's Pure Research Portal.
